"Because I made a promise," Shin-Ju said.
"I promise her that I'd be with her...
and help her take the consequences of making her own choices.
Now more than ever, I have to be with her.
I can't break that promise now. I won't.
Promises should be kept no matter what the cost."

Anime: Yamato Nadeshiko
Silly promotion. :)
Since I finally finished the series, (after a long agonizing desire to start it in the first place), I feel I had to plug it anyway.
"Yamato Nadeshiko" (The Wallflower or Perfect Girl Evolution) is a light anime series that has a different plot compared with other animes. One may be mistaken since it involves 4 pretty boys and an unusual girl which is pretty common to every anime. On the contrary, there are no love triangles or whatever shape involved in love. (HUH?) - Such a relief.
I particularly love the opening song: "Slow" by Kiyoharu. (A song is more loved if it has an anime: remember Halicali's ""Long Kiss Goodbye"" from Naruto Shippuden?)
""Slow"" has a cool video since it portrays the main character, "Sunako," who wears a large shirt and jogging pants most of the time. She also loves her room and television which plays.. err.. those betamax or DVDs piled in the floor :P
This series cannot be compared to the best love animation, such as Naruto, Dragonball, etc. I love those as well, but then those animes run at an incredible more than an hundred episode while Yamato Nadeshiko has 25 episodes.
// Side comments// My next haircut would be like Kiyoharu or Sunako -- I badly want that.
One may badly adore the best in everything, but then everything should have a limitation. (e.g. good looks, fame, fortune)
If you are interested to watch the series: "Anime Seed" - This has English subs, but then, as we all know Megavideo permits 72 minutes of viewing at a time. You might as well wait for 45 minutes, or try to load 2- 3 episodes at a time. This method would run the 45 minutes waiting time while you are watching the 2nd or 3rd video. I prefer this link since it is more enjoyable to hear the character's voices and be able to learn a few Japanese words. (HAHA)
"Anime Freak" - For the translated series, anime freak provides easier viewing. (Since you don't have to read subtitles) :P
